«Stop Bloody Energy»: a demonstration and artistic performance

On May 23, 2022, the Institute for Global Transformation, together with the Stop Bloody Energy initiative, held a «Time to Choose Your Way» demonstration and a «Lullaby» art performance to call on international businesses and energy companies to stop funding the war in Ukraine.

Dozens of activists from Ukraine and Europe joined in with posters asking businesses whether they were willing to sell the lives of innocents to make money in russia. Ukrainian artist, Daria Koltsova, materialized the statistics of actual child casualties during the months of war. The event took place during the World Economic Forum in Davos.

Ukrainian Minister of Foreign Affairs, Dmytro Kuleba, attended the performance: «We are convinced that the only way to stop the war — to stop russian aggression — is to deprive the kremlin of the sources of funding it so desperately needs to continue killing Ukrainians. Businesses must leave Russia now, starting with the energy sector».
